(a) Partial Exemption for Property Purchased for Use in Teleproduction or Other Postproduction Services. Reference: Section 6378, Revenue and Taxation Code. Teleproduction or Other Postproduction Service Equipment. What were you thinking re: the dof of the first one? More or less in focus? I personally like the look of the dof in the third shot, but I found myself wanting some more details in the label after-the-fact, so it's a toss up for me.īy the way, if anyone is in the market for artificial crushed ice, I found this stuff at Hobby Lobby and it did the trick (pretty well IMO) for under 10 bucks.Regulation 1532. Then I end up realizing that I need something like the ice or an upper-rim in the shot and I end up cranking the camera up until I overcompensate. I'm inclined to always try for nearly vertical lines, so I start out just about even with whatever I'm shooting. The up/down angle is usually the hardest for me to get right and I end up adjusting over and over with no specific intention, haha.

Also thanks for pointing out the missing Bacardi reflection - completely missed that editing at 2 a.m.! But you have that hot spot from the flash reflecting again.Īll in all nice work with just some stuff that are easy fixes!Īwesome critiques! Thanks for taking the time for that. The last one is the best of the set but i would have moved that Pellegrino to the right and included their logo seeing as though you have all logos showing. Also what happened to the reflection of the Bacardi on the can? There arent any shadows to give it dimension.

It seems that youre light paining objects rather than a scene, For example the coffee bag on the right It is perfectly lit yet the can next to it has dimension and the light falls off to the edges. Two is real nice apart from that bright area in the bottle, i find it very distracting, i think it would work well in an environmental setting but for something lie this it doesnt quite work. Also if i was you next time i would get a shot youre happy with then move the flash so you dont get the reflection on the background. Something about the lighting and the dof makes it look as if each object is photoshopped in. On the first image, a lower angle and some better spacing and placement of objects would have helped here a lot. IMAGE LINK: uW The Maestro Collins by Justin Simmons, on Flickr
